OBJECTIVE:  To re-enter the workplace with the new skills I have attained while in school and be able to be happily productive

QUALIFICATIONS

                       I would be a great addition to any workplace because not only am I receiving a great education at the moment,

                       I have already experienced multiple types of work environments and am fully aware of how to adjust and change

                      to meet the needs of a position.  I feel that the previous work experience I have has been great preparation for                 the new career I am about to begin.

2000-present  Computer Science (senior), Lander University

EMPLOYMENT

1988-1989        Cook, Whitt’s Barbecue

                  Responsible for cooking and keeping restaurant supplied with sufficient quantities of  meat to sale.  Position required that I be self-motivating and responsible.

1989-1993        Intermediate Foreman, Patten’s Steel Buildings

Responsible for erection of small buildings which included monitoring and requisitioning of supplies as well as being in charge of the laborers doing the work.  This position also required close interaction with the customer so job was completed satisfactorily.

1992-1995        Assistant Manager, The Metal Mart

Responsible, along with manager, for all day to day operations of this business, including financial, sales, purchasing, customer service, supervising employees, as well as multiple other categories.

1996-2000        Assistant Manager, CVS Pharmacy

Responsible, along with manager, for all day to day operations of this business, including financial, sales, purchasing, customer service, supervising employees, as well as multiple other categories.

                2001-present Workstudy, Physics and Physical Science Labs Lander University

                                        Responsible for weekly set up of labs needed by professors.  Also responsible for general cleanliness of labs and maintenance of equipment.  Position requires self-motivation as there is very little supervision.
