| In this meet hundreds of athletes from 35 schools all over New England came to Salem High School to compete in this prestigious meet. We only sent one freshman, Don Ager 1600m, and one sopomore, Zach Emerson 3200m. The day was very hot and many distance runners suffered from that type of condition. Don Agar ran a 1-Mile P.R. while finishing 26th overall with a time of 5:14. Zach Emerson, who was ranked #1 in the race before hand, suffered from heat cramps and faded to 6th place with a time of 10:51. Zach medaled and picked up H-D's only point of the day. |
