| MEET # 9 Class M/S State Meet @ Belmont High School 5-26-2001 |
| H-D had the most Qualifiers ever in 2001. Rodney Bradner-100m, James Stafford-800m-1600m, Zach Emerson-3200m, Chris McKee-High Jump, Jeremy Gaudet-200m, Doug Cook-400m and the 4x100m and 4X400m relay teams. Finishers in places 4th through 6th receive All-State 2nd team. Those people who did that today were: Doug Cook(5th)-400m-54.6 James Stafford(6th)-1600m-4:45.9 Finisher in the top 3 receive All-State 1st team as well as moving on to the biggest meet of the year.... The Meet of Champions next weekend in Manchester. One athlete did that today with a finishing kick bringing him from 6th place to 3rd in the last lap: Zach Emerson(3rd)-3200m-10:21 Zach became the first H-D male runner since 1989 to move on to the Meet of Champions.
