| This was a good race for everybody against good competition and that resulted in fast times. The Bow course is somewhat flat. It starts and finishes around their 400m track, but with many loops it is easy to get lost on. The on-going rivalry between our Zach Emerson and Bow's Peter Lagos was shown once agian when Zach saw his 8 second lead, with less than 1/2 mile to go, turn into a sprint in the last 100m on the track. Peter Lagos edged Zach by 1 second with a powerful finishing kick. James Stafford finished fast as well and only 3 seconds out of 3rd. It was a strong showing for the H-D squad. |
