This site contains paintings as well as a nice
collection of links. The links lead to biographies, pages about
Rossetti's paintings, and pages with e-texts of his poetry.

The Original Home
Page of Robert W. Service
This is a comprehensive site with a
brief biography, lots of e-texts, links to other e-texts, a search
function, related links, and links to online bookstores. Sadly, there is
no criticism, but it is still a good site.
Shakespeare, William (1564-1616)
There is so much Shakespeare out there that I refuse to
even pretend to be able to cover even a fraction of it. Instead, I'll direct
you to some other online guides which are pretty comprehensive.

Mr. William
Shakespeare and the Internet
This is a site with links to info
about his works, his life and historical surroundings, criticism on him,
the renaissance, and other resources. There is lots of good stuff here;
browse around and check it out. It includes a list of the web author's
cho ice for best links in each category. Highly recommended.
- Such stuff as
dreams are made on
This is another well-organized collection of
links, from e-texts to biography to the ever-popular "miscellaneous." It
also has critical links and links to sites which address the "authorship
question." If you don't know what that means, you should defin itely
check one of them out.
Other than that, you should search
for more specific sites on your own.
Shelley, Percy Bysshe (1792-1822)

The Percy Bysshe Shelley homepage
This is a fairly limited site,
but it does have links to online works and a very brief bibliography which
has no criticism, but does have some printed biographies.

Page
This site has a good list of e-texts and links to e-texts.
It also has a bibliography (up to 1992) of printed works, a chronology,
and several papers. It lists a lot of helpful links at the end.
Steinbeck, John (1902-1968)
- John Steinbeck
page
This site contains some good information, including a
selected bibliography and a history of the author's critical reputation.
It also has some links to other good places. There are no truly
comprehensive sites which I could find.
