This is a picture of, or rather, it's a picture based on the character of Touki, the angel of water in CLAMP's WISH. Although Touki is a little sullen in the series, like all the angels she never wore anything but light colors. The dark dress is a result of the dress looking very goth in the initial sketch. Of course things never turning out as planned, instead of making it dark black like a proper goth costume, I went ahead and made it a deep blue. It's kinda funny considering the dress was originally supposed to be white. Another thing about this picture is that I played around with the highlights, and I'm not quite sure I like the skirt area all that much, but the water still looks cool. There is that problem with the hair though. I was pretty sick of coloring in highlights, etc. by the time I got to that part of the picture, so I just left it the way it was. 8/99
