Rocky is a well put together, lovely natured, good looking Irish Setter who is a proven producer of dual potential dogs. His previous get have his biddable nature, and obviously are proving themselves to be incredible field trial dogs. They show a natural tendency to back, have tonnes of point, and excellent run. In addition, the ones that I have seen are good looking, well put together examples of our breed, and I hope to see them in the conformation ring once they have finished their field titles.

Celine: sweet, extremely biddable temperament. Sound, effortless movement. Straight dark chestnut coat, modest in quantity. Beautiful almond eyes, and low ears. Classy, chiseled headpiece, with a strong muzzle and jaws.

She is a moderately sized bitch, weighing about 50 pounds, and standing 24 1/2" and she is moderately boned with strong sinewy muscle.

Celine won High in Trial at the Irish Setter Club of Canada's National in 2002 and 2003.

Celine won AKC three and five point majors and a Best of Breed from the classes during the summer of 2002 and needs just four singles to finish her AKC Championship. Celine finished her CKC championship as an adolescent, including a lovely Best in Sporting Dog Sweepstakes under well known Breeder Judge Sue McCammon.

Celine is a fire ball in the field and has earned her American Junior Hunter title. Exciting and stylish to watch in the field, she excels at bird finding. Her run has turned the heads of not a few field trial judges, and fellow handlers attending the hunt tests she has run in.

Celine is spending the Fall of 2002 with Jean Webb of Sylvanus Gordon Setters, and will come home once she has been bred to Rocky. Jean reports that Celine is learning to be handled off horseback, and that Jean is managing nicely to get Celine past the bird busting that I let her get away with! Rocky's influence should firm up the points on this litter of pups.

Celine has come home with her limit on wild birds each time she has been out with friend and Vizsla breeder Jim Brennan.

I am hopeful that this combination of strong field and show lines will prove a good "nick." These classic dogs both have great temperaments and strong sound bodies. They are easy keepers, needing no special treatment to keep in good body condition and weight. If you are looking for a dual potential pup this is the litter for you!
