Meet Miss Russell

| Hi!
I'm Lea Anne Russell and I teach kindergarten at Bauder Elementary School
in Seminole, Florida. The 2009-10 school year will be my 23nd year of teaching
in Pinellas County, all in kindergarten. I love teaching this grade level
because the children love school and are so eager to learn! |

| I
was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and have lived in the area my whole
life. I received my BA degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education
at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Go Gators! |

| When
I am not teaching, I enjoy furthering my computer training, rollerblading,
watching movies, and going to the beach. As my students will discover as
they walk into my classroom, my favorite activity is SCUBA diving. I love
to travel to different tropical locations and explore the coral reefs. My
favorite destination is the Cayman Islands. The water is crystal clear and
the sea life abundant. |

| In
the winter season, I also enjoy snow skiing. Living in Florida my whole
life, my first snow experience wasn't until age 23. Visiting the spectacular
snow covered mountains is wonderful, but Florida is the place for me. |
