When Voyager started, I was a little dissapointed. The cast seemed unimpressive and I thought that the ship looked like a shoe. As the series matured however, I was and still am more and more impressed!
They seem to have struck an exellent balance between the old and the new. It has the feel of the original series, the cultural nuances of T.N.G., and the visual impact you would expect from a series of this nature.
