Thank You To All Members Of The Military,
Past And Present

Where Do You Go

Where is it that you go,
when thank you is not enough.
To tell these soldiers so brave,
you know the life they lead is tough.

Across the seas in a country unknown,
you fought a war in troubled times.
Boarded ships and aircraft carriers,
what thoughts went through your mind.

Bow

A war that was fought for others,
but you continued your journey of plight.
Reaching shores you had never seen,
repared to stand for feedom and fight.

The hearts of your families always near,
letters you wrote sent on their way.
Lifted up from the battle fields,
often arrived in somewhat disarray.

Bow

The turmoil was known as mankind,
as each of you with such honor and pride.
Gave all that you had to set them free,
God in your hearts as light for a guide.

So where is that you go,
when you hear that feedom bell toll.
To let you know how proud we are,
of all you gave and in honor so bold.

Bow

If our Country failed to tell you so,
while in slumber of freedom we sleep.
There are not enough honors,
to lay at your valiant feet.
