Brother From Another Series
Episode Number: 4F14
Blackboard Gag: ?
Couch Gag: The family run in and the living room is upside down, so they drop up onto the sofa
Distinctive Because: We meet another member of Bob's family and learn something about our hero's background
Why Bob Gets Out: He becomes a reformed character - "all murdered out"
How it All Begins: Bob, cured of his evil ways, is released. He goes to work for his brother Cecil constructing the Springfield Hydroelectric Dam.
And Then: It all comes out how Bob destroyed Cecil's career dreams and they hate each other's guts.
Next: Bob, Lisa and Bart discover that Cecil has been embezzling funds from the dam. Cecil discloses his plan to blow up the dam, taking Bob, and Springfield, with it.
The End: Bob and Bart foil the plan, becoming friends, but the police arrest both Terwilliger brothers for the hell of it.
Bob's Appearance: Again, fairly cartoony; office clothes and a hard hat.
Anything Else of Note: I'm told that this one pays homage to "Frasier", but since I don't watch "Frasier", I can't compare them. David Hyde Pierce, who plays Frasier's brother Niles in the show, does the voiceover for Cecil.
Quotes:
*"Oh, I see. When it's one of my plans you can't foil it fast enough, but when Cecil tries to kill you it's 'hopeless, utterly hopeless.'"
*"You don't have to worry about me, brother. I'm all murdered out."
*"I'm telling you Cecil, I can't take much more of this! Rustic workmen who've turned the Sanijohn into a smokehouse!
Coveralls that don't quite coverall! And a psychotic little boy who won't stop hounding me!"
*"You don't spend ten years as a homicidal maniac without learning a thing or two about dynamite."
*"I hope they still make that shampoo I like."
*Bob: "Hydroelectrical and hydrodynamical? Talk about running the gamut."
Cecil: "Snigger all you like, Bob."
Bob: "Thank you, I believe I shall."
*"To be fair, I've never successfully killed anyone."
*"You only get one chance with Edna Krabappel."
