All About The Wonderful Moi
So, you really want to know, huh? Well here it is.
My name's Anna, I'm 19, and I live in the UK, where terrestrial TV is so behind with the Simpsons it's shocking. Consequently, while in 'Merka Our Hero Bob went to jail for the last time ages ago, here he's still a big issue. And I love him. But about me.
I got into the Simpsons only about 8 years ago, fairly late, but I find it incredibly funny. The other big obsessions in my life are Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels and my intense hatred of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (I spit on the name), person and show. I know I seem to be in the minority here (most of - no, wait, all - my friends love it) but I hate it. So there.
I like graphic novels (arty comics, to the uninitiated), especially ones by Neil Gaiman and especially especially Sandman ones. They're just ace. I'm crazily in love with the actor Jonathon Rhys Meyers, who was in Gormenghast (see if you can find his picture on this site... that'll be a way to pass the time), but there are also a couple of other people who I wouldn't be averse to spending some time with. I've got a terrible aversion to pop music - if it hasn't got guitars, I won't listen to it. My big things are Extreme Metal and 70s punk. Weird combo? Deal with it. I adore Cradle of Filth, and I was went to see them last Easter. I'm pretty sure that when Dani said 'And this is for all the beautiful Goth ladies in the house' he meant me. Shhh... let me dream.
So. That's me. Now for the Paltrow Speech.
I'd like to thank: the wonderful people at Fox for not suing me for copyright infringement; Pegg for her extensive Simpsons collection and knowledge of HTML; Judy for not slapping me around the face when she heard about the project - and for being absolutely great and bestfriendy, natch; all my mates (here's where I mention you, Rach)(aah); my parents for buying the computer; everyone who I stole pictures from; everyone who ever put up with me and my pedantry; everyone I know, knew or ever will know; my pet snake; my sister's pet fish; my - oh, wait, I'd better stop before I start to thank the milkman. That reminds me - ta, George.
Thank you everyone
