Scoala de vara: "scoala de mini-ghizi" (07-08.2006)

Students will learn about Romanian culture, traditions and customs. They will learn what to speak about Romania if a foreigner comes to them and ask about their country.
The useful information that any Romanian should know about their country will be present to the students.

Objectives:
- Making a presentation of Romania, a project to "sell" it best to strangers.
- Exploring Romania, from as many points of view as possible and, this way, adding new information to their portfolio.
- Ability to use maps and realize their importance for orientation.
- Be aware of our country's heritage, the national patrimony and also of their duty and obligation of preserving it best.

Subjects:
1. Romania and UE;
2. Bucharest , still "Le Petit Paris?";
3. Listening + famous Romanians [past];
4. Listening + famous Romanians [present] + "Brancusi" movie;
5. A virtual journey throw Romania + useful advices;
6. Traditions & Customs & Romanian Food;

The final project:
Children will present their country with its culture and traditions to a foreigner.
