This is not only the rules of the RW. It's also a handbook for the "handlers" to follow. It's quite lengthy, but please make sure you read through (and understand them) thoroughly.

RW does NOT believe in the "3 strikes and you're out" rule. The punishment scale is simple:

THE FIRST TIME YOU BREAK A RULE...YOU WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR ONE WEEK! (IF YOU HOLD A TITLE, IT WILL BE STRIPPED FROM YOU!)
THE SECOND TIME YOU BREAK A RULE...YOU WILL BE FIRED! (NO EXCEPTIONS!)

The RW front office demands respect! This means, when a problem arises, you don't post on any of the boards. You email or IM Jason Havok. If you disrespect the front office, YOU WILL BE FIRED!

The RW front office will not tolerate trouble makers, complainers, sore losers, and the like here. You people piss off those that love e-fedding, taking the fun out of it. So if you become one of them, YOU WILL BE FIRED! If you already fit into this category, don't bother applying.

The RW front office will not stand for racism, sexist remarks, or the likes in your posts. Use them, and YOU WILL BE FIRED!

1. Joining

a. You will be notified through email, within 48 hours after submitting an application, on whether or not you were accepted into the NLCW. Refrain from registering and posting on the boards until you have received the email letting you know you were accepted.

2. Qualifications

a. Only original (fake) wrestlers will be accepted into RW. Do not go overboard with the height/weight of your character. If you do so, you will be asked to alter the stats of your wrestler before he/she can be accepted.

3. Storylines/Angles /B>
a. Storylines and angles will be decided by both the front office and the wrestlers involved with the storyline/angle.

b. Upon joining, your character might be thrown into an active storyline/angle in order to make things interesting.

4. Roleplaying

a. You MUST roleplay at least once a week - (that's not asking much) - whether you are scheduled for a match or not. The front office knows all about time constraints, so there is no set number of lines per roleplay. But try to make them somewhat lengthy...at least interesting to read.

b. Roleplays will be judged by the front office, who will look at the following 4 factors: creativity, originality, spelling/grammar, and overall quality (not in any particular order). No one factor will outweigh another so do not think that because you post five times and your opponent only posts twice, that you will get the win!

c. The preview "card" for each event will be uploaded at least 48 hours in advance to give you all time to (1) know whether or not you are scheduled for a match and (2) to RP for it. If you cannot RP for your match, email or IM Mark Steele. You don't have to provide a reason, especially if it is personal. The first time you do not RP for a match, and you didn't notify the front office, your character will be severely "jobbed". The second time you do not RP without first notifying the front office, YOU WILL BE FIRED!

d.New Rule - You are only allowed 6 roleplays per match per week. Anything else will NOT be counted, this goes for ALL events.

f. New Rule - No Stacked Posting. You must wait 2 hours before posting a second roleplay, to allow opponents to post.

5. Results & Cards

a. There is only one weekly card, Impact, which takes place on Tuesday's, and one Pay-Per-View each month, which will be held on a day chosen by the front office.

b. All results will be uploaded by 9 pm E.S.T. the night of an event. ALL RESULTS ARE FINAL (though "preview cards" are subject to change from time to time). Email Jason Havok with complaints, comments, etc. pertaining to card results.
DO NOT BITCH ON ANY OF THE BOARDS!

c. Should the results be late, Jason Havok/C.T. will let everyone know on the boards. DO NOT email or IM Jason, (or any other member of the front office), or post on any of the boards asking when the results will be up. They will be uploaded when they are finished.

d. The deadline for posting roleplays is 11 PM Monday Night (Central Standard Time). This goes for Impact. Pay-per-view rp's are due on 11 PM the day before the PPV event. NO ROLEPLAYS WILL BE CONSIDERED TOWARD YOUR MATCH AFTER THIS DEADLINE, SO DON'T BOTHER POSTING ANY!

6. The Boards

a. There are 4 forums set specifically to each event (Impact RP Board, Pay-Per-View RP Board, and Character Development Board). If you post on the wrong board, your post will get deleted.

There are a number of other boards to help give you the most experience in the RW. The boards are designated for what they are.

b. The RW front office encourages you all to keep up with the boards. This is so you don't miss a policy/rule change, the explanation should a card be late, etc.

c. Keep in mind that you may be placed in a match from time to time that you did not request/agree to. This is to either start a feud/angle, fill up a card, etc. It is not because you are being punished!

d. Swearing is allowed in your roleplays, but don't take it too far. Use your best judgement.

e. Do NOT start or contribute to a war on the OOC Board. Getting involved in a matter that does not concern either you or your character usually escalates into something nasty. If there is a disagreement between 2 or more members, let them and the front office sort it out.

f. Do NOT complain on the boards. This is negative criticism and leads to confrontations. If you have a problem with someone, voice it privately to that person through email, chat, etc.

g. No references to superstars or handlers being gay, queer, transsexual etc. This leads to big OOC wars.

h. The front office holds the right to “censor” any messages on any of the boards by either removing or editing them.

i. Do NOT give out your password once you register for the boards. This could lead to someone posting as you. If the front office finds anyone posting as another handler in the RW, that person(s) will be fired!

j. Do not post other efed's websites on RW boards, and do not advertise the RW on other efed's boards! Invite people through email.

k. Deadline for requesting a match is 12 midnight E.S.T. Wednesday morning.

7. Requesting

If you have a request than email the Chairman, Jason Havok, with the request. Request's including promo's on shows, backstage segments, matches, and more. Please do not request a match that is for a title.

8. Championships

RW
This is the most prestigious title in the RW
ONLY THE VERY BEST WILL HOLD THIS TITLE!

Diva X
This is the most prestigious title in the Women's Division.

Light-Heavyweight
You must be under the 220 pound mark to hold this title or challenge for it.

Tag Team
This is the most prestigious title in the Tag Team Division.

American This title is the second most prestigious title in the RW.

Canadian
This is our "Canadian" title, so it will usually be defended only at Impact. However, it will be on the line at Pay-Per-Views from time to time.

The RW champions are the champions for a reason, and they hold the right to turn down any request for a championship match, (unless a member of the front office states that someone has proven themselves worthy of a title shot via a tournament, a number one contender match, etc.)

TITLE SHOTS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE EARNED THEM!

9. Rosters

a. You can only handle up to 2 wrestlers at any given time. This applies to both members of a tag team (should you handle both wrestlers in the team).

b. If you choose to have 2 wrestlers, there is a very good chance that both could be signed for separate matches in the same card. Make sure you post for both wrestlers, so as not to break the rule of "at least 1 post a week".

c. No dropping and bringing in new wrestlers all of the time just because you lose your "creative-side" with one particular character. This just makes more work for the front office.

d. Under no circumstances may you use any characters (other than your own, announcers, and/or interviewers) without that handler’s permission. You can use any member of the front office in your post, as long as you don't have him making a rule change, honoring a match, etc. And no physically attacking the front office member.

e. If a champion will be unable to defend his title at any event, (due to vacation, illness, internet problems, etc.), the title COULD be stripped and a championship tournament set up to determine a new champion. This all depends on why the champion cannot roleplay.
