					The Nevirus
		Lifespan: Unknown (no records of births/deaths available) Famous Nevirus: Illuminant Sabir One of the more mysterious races in the galaxy are the Nevirus.  Hailing from a planet most would consider uninhabitable Neviriondys, a volcanic wasteland, they have formed massive communities nestled in between the massive lava flows and the volcanoes that spawn them.  The Nevirus supposedly possess devices that keep the volcanic activity in check to prevent any disasters from befalling them but nobody outside their own race has ever seen them.  The Nevirus originally were in a trading agreement with the Republic, using the planets massive thermal energy production facility to encapsulate excess energy in order to trade it for products not available on the Nevirus's homeworld.  After several decades of trade the Republic offered the Nevirus membership into the Republic, and after several revisions of the alliance they accepted.  The Nevirus are also responsible for introducing the Republic to the angelic Aeris, having stumbled across their planet during an extended trading mission.  Nevirus society is large capitalistic, seeking to use trade and business to acquire status, but it's members have adapted to work in every aspect of the Gul-Qian Republic, but are mostly seen as merchants or military contractors.  Illuminant Sabir holds the first of the three Nevirus seats on the Grand Illuminant, he is also the CEO  of Neviriondys's thermal power corporation.
