The central tenet of keeping families strong is communication. The Brenizer newsletters, or the e-mailed updates on Papa Kelly's condition, for example, were and are wonderful boons for keeping in touch. I've acquired a good deal of web space here, and I might as well use it for a good purpose. There are a number of things that make the Internet particularly handy for the purpose of Family communication. First, it's ubiquitous. If you were lost in the middle of the Sahara, you'd walk by three computers with Internet connections before you found water. Second, it's timely. If you have anything you'd like to share with the family, you can e-mail it to me at ryanbrenizer@hotmail.com. I'll keep a running textual family update page, which I hope we can all add to.

I have a great resource at my disposal as far as family event arvhiving goes. My mother. She takes photos like every event is a crime scene. You can pretty much make a flipbook out of the photos of my early life and get a complete animation of my daily activitities. I've acquired a seperate server to store photos, so I'll be ading new ones as fast as my USB scanner can keep up.
