A first anniversary celebration of trans/genderqueer/intersex artists

West Hollywood, CA: "Trans/Giving," a showcase and display of art, music, performance, and literature from trans/genderqueer/intersex artists celebrates its first anniversary Sunday, November 14, at 6:30 at Fiesta Hall in Plummer Park, located at 1200 N. Vista St., West Hollywood, CA (parking is available at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd. near Santa Monica and Martel).Our lineup features San Francisco�s poet, television and radio mistress Sherilyn Connelly, Sri Lankan poet, hip-hop dancer, and producer D�Lo, classical/Klezmer clarinettist Razi Michael Zarchy and techno-dance diva Julie Z. We are also presenting films by Shawn Tamaribuchi (Femina Potens), performance artist/porn star Helen Wong (www.allenina.com), Dean Spade & Tara Matiek (Sylvia Rivera Law Project), and Eli Sse Mbessakwini (Tribe 8), with art from Kai Chris Somers (International Foundation for Androgynous Studies), artist/illustrator Tristan Edgarian, Jaguar Busuego, and Matt Nishii (Transe-Generation).
