   Ryo Akiyama is a boy who pops up every now and then in the Digimon spotlight.
    He appears in many Digimon wonderSwan games such as Anode/Cathode Tamer, Tag Tamers, D-1 Tamers and Brave/Network Tamers. He also appears breifly in the Digimon series. In Bokura No war game, The 2nd Digimon Movie; Episodes 23 and 43 of Digimon Adventure 02 during Ken's flashbacks; and a popup Character in Digimon Tamers
   Ryo's hobbies differ from which dimention your talking about. But most of them seem most likely to be the same. Such as Online chatting, and an obsession with video games.
In the case with Digimon Tamers, he seems to be totally obsesed with being a Tamer.
   To clear up some things. Ryo is not another brother to Ken, though evidence suggest that the two are best friends and its a possibility that Ryo knew Osamu/Sam before he went.
     Ryo isnt a relative of Davis either, though it was hard to tell when most of us first saw him in Ken's flashbacks. It was hard to tell him apart in the Digimon movie. Since the animation was different/bad.
   Ryo's stories differ from each dimention he is in.
   In Anode Tamers, his adventure begins with the other DigiDestined at Heighton View terrace and the Digimon Attack. Years later, he is summoned to the Digital world to help the DigiDestined.
     Tag Tamers begins with Him and Ken watching Tai and the others beat up Diaboromon on the internet. D-1 Tamers starts right after Tag Tamers where Ryo is trying to nurse Ken back to helth.
    Rumours about Ryo's future roles are already beginning to circulate with the confirmation of the 4th season . Some say that he will again appear in the Digimon series, possibly as the main character. Others speculate a comeback of the Adventure series with Digimon Adventure 00, taking place before the 1st Digimon series where Ryo is rumourd to have played an important role.
Still others talk about a Playstation game where Ryo is involved.
     None of these rumours are confirmend or have any evidence supporting them. But whatever is in store for Digmon in the future, we can be sure that Ryo Akiyama will be a part of it again.
