Hello! Ryo-oh-ki
Konnichi wa! Ryo-oh-ki
Since the crash, a week has passed. Ryoko searches the wreckage of her ship. Finding what she's looking for, she returns to the house.
Ayeka, having not left her room for a week, realizes she's been rude to her hosts. She goes downstairs to see Ryoko holding an egg while Sasami looks on. Ryoko, deciding to have some fun, tells her that it belongs to Tenchi and herself. Ayeka is mad (they're both growing to like Tenchi). The egg hatches and out pops a cabbit (cat-rabbit). Ryoko laughs at Ayeka and tells her that it's her spaceship. Nobody believes that a spaceship can spawn itself.
Ayeka leaves the house followed by the cabbit who tries to cheer her up. Ayeka eventually lets her, but she sees Tenchi being trained by his grandfather. She slips from her hiding spot and sprains her ankle. Tenchi's grandfather, seemingly recognizing her, sets the ankle and tells Tenchi to carry her home. On the way, she sees the Holy Masaki Tree and tells him to take her to it. She recognizes it as Yosho's tree, but it had taken root and lost its power. She gives Tenchi back the sword and tells him to be her protector. Ryoko shows up and is glad that Tenchi has her source of power back.

This episode mainly sets up what's to come. It advances the plot, but only slightly and doesn't have any action. I enjoyed it, but it isn't my favorite episode.
