Azaka and Kamidake:

The 2 "logs" that fallow Ayeka every where she goes.  They were once the bravest and most valiant knights of Jurai.  When they were no longer needed to defend Jurai, they sort of went to sleep (kind of like what happened to Ryoko in her cave).  Their spirits were put into the two guardians often referred to as logs.  They resemble logs because they are carved from the trees of Jurai.  Azaka (blue) is older than Kamidake (red), who fallows Azaka and learns from him.  When in Tenchi Universe they reached the palace, Kamidake told Ryoko how much they respected her efforts and spirit for getting them and Tenchi to Jurai safely, as she promised she would.  They fought the impostor Emperor's Knights, and although the won, they got they buts royally kicked.  Later, Azaka becomes very fond of Sasami who teaches him in the art of video games.
