PWR- the People's Wrestling Report has been broadcasting on VTTV student television in Blacksburg, Virginia since February 7, 2000. Every week "the Legend" Cree Shelton and Sammy Eanes (2001 winner: Best On Screen Duo) provide news and highlights from the major happenings in the world of professional wrestling. PWR originally aired at 7:30 on Mondays. The show quickly picked up popularity and was moved to an 8 pm Monday timeslot for the fall 2000/spring 2001 season. Entering fall of 2001 VTTV moved once again, and the show can currently be seen Wednesday nights at 10:30 on channel 33 on the Virginia Tech campus and Adelphia channel 18 in Blacksburg and Christiansburg. The move to the 10:30 time paired PWR with VTTV's other favorite, the Weekly Show (2001 winner: Show of the Year). Together, the Weekly Show and PWR comprise The Power Hour, a great block of quality programming from some of VTTV's best.

MEET THE STAFF
Joe Castiglioni- Joe is a Junior Communications Studies major at Virginia Tech. Originally from Virginia Beach, VA; Joe hopes to continue his education at Regent University in Virginia Beach upon graduating Tech. Joe has been involved at VTTV since coming to Tech. Joe started out in the sports department at VTTV, reporting on the volleyball, soccer, baseball, football and other sports teams. Joe then became one of the founding members of the Weekly Show staff, and the PWR staff. Joe is now the Programming Director of VTTV, the Special Productions Director, as well a producer of PWR and the Weekly Show, which he also directs.

Sammy Eanes- Sammy is a fifth year senior majoring in History. Originally from Martinsville, Virginia (known for its NASCAR), Sammy has been a wrestling fan seemingly since birth. He hopes to continue doing PWR, in some form, after graduating from Virginia Tech in December, 2001.

Adam Lash- Adam is senior Independant Studies Major at Virginia Tech. He hails from Nothern Virginia where his lovely parents still live. Adam directs PWR and has also hosted on a few occassions. He is best known for the "How to be a Wrestler" segment that he stared in with Joe Castiglioni. Adam is also the host of The Weekly Show, the brother program to PWR. Together both shows comprise the famous "Power Hour" on VTTV.

"the Legend" Cree Shelton- Cree is a senior Communications Studies major, also originally from Martinsville, Virginia. Cree and Sammy have been friends since childhood and have planned on doing PWR together since high school. Cree adds a great mix of spice and wrestling knowledge to the show. The originator of Spots of the Week. Cree is also heavily involved in other VTTV shows, including Cutting Edge and Downtown Hits, which he also hosts.
