4 pork chops
1 22-oz. jar sauerkraut, rinsed and drained well
1 Tbl. Dijon mustard
1 cup apple sauce
1 Tbl. brown sugar
Pepper to taste
1 cup beer
Brown pork chops on both sides in nonstick pan over medium heat, about 2 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, combine sauerkraut, mustard, apple sauce, and brown sugar in an ovenproof dish. Place pork chops on top of sauerkraut mixture, add fresh ground pepper to taste, and cover with beer. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 hour. Serve.
