Blueberry Cake

1 1/2 c Flour
1 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1/3 c Milk
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Blueberries
2 Eggs, well-beaten
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Shortening

Sift flour, measure. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs and set aside. Cream shortening; gradually add sugar and cream well. Add beaten eggs and blend until fluffy. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture, stirring well. Add half the milk (with vanilla) and stir in. Add flour, milk, etc. until all are added. Gently fold in blueberried, which have been dusted with flour. Pour into a greased 9-inch cake or tube pan.
