Chicken Pot Pie





Prep time: 20 min. Bake time: 28 min.


1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Bisquick
1/2 tsp. parley flakes
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup frozen vegetables
1 cup cut-up cooked chicken
1/2 cup Bisquick
1/3 cup milk
1 tbs. melted butter

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare Crust. Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in 1/4 cup baking mix and parsley. Cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in chicken broth and vegetable mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 min. Stir in chicken; heat through. Pour chicken mixture into crust. Stir remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour evenly over chicken mixture. Bake 25 to 28 min. or until crust is golden brown. Serves 6.

CRUST
2 TBS. firm butter
1 cup Bisquick
2 TBS. milk

Cut butter into baking mix in small bowl. Stir in milk. Pat dough on bottom and up to rim of 9 " pie plate. Bake 5 min.
