GOING PUBLIC

You may find the sharpness and quality in some of the pictures a bit…non-existent. This was caused by lack of a decent camera. Instead, I was forced to use an old pocket camera with questionable focus.
Later pictures are taken with a digital camera. The quality is in a different league! I hope I don't have to tear the car apart again and take new photos while doing so?

For you to be able to see the details on these pages, I have chosen NOT to compress the pictures beyond recognition, and consequently the download time may be long. I think however, it's worth the extra waiting time, and I hope you do too.

I may be able to sit by the computer and use it as a typewriter. I may even manage to process images taken by a digital camera. But I was by no means able to transfer all this material into a web page, without making a complete mess of it. Realizing my shortcoming as a computer geek, I turned to the proffesionals. A friend of mine, Tore, works in an advertising bureau. You should have seen his face when I presented him the stuff! With eyes wide open and foam coming out of his mouth, he yelled that NO INTERNET PAGES ARE THAT LARGE, OR HAVE PICTURES OF THESE SIZES!!! I innocently replied that this one would have to be the first then. At this point he went completely bananas, and I had to calm him down by telling him it was a joke. I had to let him process (downsize) my illustrations. But when he wasn't looking, I replaced the pic's with the originals, hehe!
Anyway, my friend tought me how to edit html, so all updates are done without help.

COMMENTS ON OTHER CARS
This is not a rose tinted owe'd to Saab, to give the impression that they are the best cars in the world, and all other manufactorers make manure. In fact, I do adress many of the Saab's shortcomings, and how to cure/modify them. I do adress shortcomings on other cars too... That does not mean I say they're crap, it is simply a matter of calling a spade a spade.
Take Mercedes, for instance. I recognize them for making some of the best cars in the world, despite the fact that their seats are horrible, and they borrow their steering wheels from the truck division. It really isn't that difficult to install proper (Recaro) seats and a decent steering wheel, once you've bought a Merc. But I expect some geezers will misunderstand and send hate-mail...
