EXTERIOR: MIRRORS
The mirrors were bolted to the door panels, and changed according to
automotive fashion and trends. To begin with they were (relatively)
small and chromed. As time moved on, size increased. And black color was
introduced. As of m82 models, the mirrors were integrated in the window
frame, and adjustable from inside by a small lever. The 900 turbos even
got electric adjustment, doing away with the silly levers that fouled
the air from the side window demist ducts. Another option was electric
heating.
