Arthur Hawkins Arthur is an old friend of Solomon or Yugi's Grandpa. They were trying to understand encryptions found underground when rocks caved in and they were both trapped with only a bottle of water for one person. They decide to duel for the water, but in the end, Solomon gives up the water to his friend, although he could have won. Arthur later gives his one Blue Eyes White Dragon card to the other man. Bakura/Ryou The possessor of the Millennium Ring, Bakura, as he is often called, is a good friend to Yugi, Tristan, Tea and Joey until the evil spirit inside his Millennium item takes over his body. He is in the same class as his friends before they find themselves in Duelist Kingdom which is run by Pegasus. Gardner See Tea (Taya) Gardner Grandpa/Solomon Yugi's Grandpa is often referred to as "Yugi's Grandpa" or just "Grandpa" and sometimes "Solomon", and is known as a great duelist. He once had a full card of a Blues Eyes White Dragon before Kaiba tore it in half, yet he treasures it with his life. Why? See the story section (soon to come!) Hawkins See Arthur Hawkins and Rebecca Hawkins Joey Wheeler Besides Yugi in their group of Bakura, Tristen, Tea, Yugi and himself, Joey is the only other duelist. Both make it to the final duels at Pegasus' castle, against each other. Joey is Yugi's best freind and would do anything for the other. Joey even trieds to sneak onto the ship to Duelist Kingdom (of which he wasn't invited to) with him. Joey is a really good friend, a bit cocky at times, but still a good friend. Japanese name: Katsuya Jonouchi Kaiba See Seto Kaiba and Mokuba Kaiba Mai Valentine Mai was once not a friend of Yugi's group, but now is, especially after how they won back her star chips, showed her kindess and what it meant to have a friend. She is usually traveling by herself but always meets up with Yugi sooner or later. She later duels her way to Pegasus' castle and gets the chance to duel Yugi. Maximillion See Pegasus Mokuba Kaiba The younger brother of Seto Kaiba, Mokuba desperately tries to assist his brother with most things, and always somehow endsd up asking Yugi for help. Mokuba is able to duel, but was never officially invited to Duelist Kingdom. Mutou (motto) See Yugi Mutou and Grandpa/Solomon Pegasus Although the creator of Duel Monsters is known as Pegasus, his full name is Maximillian Pegasus. His love, Cescilia, was killed by a kind of virus. He planned to possess all Millennium items including the Millenium Eye he already had. Losing to Pegasus means 'soul-trpping time'. He uses the magic in his Millennium Eye to trps souls in blank dueling cards whose souls are attempted to be released by Yugi. Pharaoh See Yami Rebecca Hoppkins Arthur's grand daughter who duels Yugi after he returned from Duelist Kingdom to win back her grandpa's Blue Eyes White Dragon of which she thought Yugi's Grandpa stole, but find out Arthur gave it to him. Ryou See Bakura/Ryou Seto Kaiba Seto Kaiba is a boy, or rather a man because of his looks and height, who owns a company called Kaiba Corp. Kaiba, as Seto is usually called, is rich, so he puts his money to use. He has created, in the past, duel simulations, which are used at Duelist Kingdom, a device that goes on the wrist, holds a deck, shows life points and creates simulations, used at Pegasus' castle top, a virtual Duel Monsters world and is currently working on a simulator that allows the duelist to feel the pain their monster take. Kaiba had once been the undefeated duelist with threee Blue Eyes out of four. Together, the three can create with a fusion card, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Yugi surprisingly defeats him and his ultimate monster by drawing all cards to summon the unsummoned; Exodia! Solomon See Grandpa/Solomon Tea (Taya) Gardner A friend of Yugi; Tea is no duelist, but don't let that fool you; be out of her way when she's out to help her friends. With determination, encouragement and especially friendship, Tea will do anything to assist her companions. Japanese name: Anzu Mazaki Tristen Taylor Another friend of Yugi. Tristen is just as determined as Tea to help his friends. He is not a duelist either and does not always think before acting, but always comes through. Tristen is not a hero, but Yugi would never have defeated Pegasus without him and the others. Japanese name: Hiroto Honda Valentine See Mai Valentine Yami The spirit locked within Yugi's Millennium Puzzle, and has always been released in a duel. Very rarely has Yugi not and has only once let him loose outside a duel. The kind, determined Pharaoh has now promised Yugi not to harm any of his friends to win a duel, including Kaiba after an accidental incident. In the Japanese version, he is known as 'Dark Yugi'. Yugi Mutou The boy who pieced together the Millennium Puzzle after it was locked away for a millennia along with other tiems. He is the main character and is shorter than Yami, but both maintain kind hearts and work their minds in harmony. Yugi is the most cautious of the two, but will risk everything for his friends and family, even his own life. Bandit Keith Yes, his name says it all: bandit. Bandit Keith and his group stalk unsuspecting duelists and lure them away from any group they might have for their star chips. When Keith duels Joey by giving Bones, a member of his group, instructions on what to do to get victory, but he underestimates Joey and so does Bones. Brought to defeat, Keith and his group fled and trapped Yugi, Joey and everyone in the cave inside. Although Keith was known as a bandit, it didn't seem like it much later.. Bones The only known name in Bandit Keith's group. Bones was to supposedly duel Joey, but with Keith's help, it was no longer a one on one duel. He is a bit of a coward and unstratagetic, and nothing more has been heard from him. Docks One of the two brothers who Pegasus sends to defeat Yugi and Joey and keep him and his group underground, never to escape. Paira and Docks tell Yugi and Joey they will only duel two on two, and so it is. They are later defeated and try to trick Yami/Yugi, but their attempts fail. See Paira for more information. Devalon See Duke Devalon Duke The creator of Dungeon Dice Monsters. Duke can't believe Yugi defeated Pegasus and so decides to challenging Yugi to his own game. Yugi proves to Duke that he did become King of Duel Monsters, by defeating Duke at the game. Keith See Bandit Keith Maeko Tsunami The one who lured Yugi and his extremely hungry friends to him with fish. They did not know what was in store, but Maeko said he wanted to duel Yugi in return for the food, and so it was. With Maeko's water type monsters, he seemed on the verge of winning, but Yugi surprises him with a win. Paira Paira and Docks together are known as the PairaDocks brothers and are undefeated, but Yugi and Joey change that. Paira and Docks put up a great duel but still fail. See Docks for more information. Tsunami See Mako Tsunami Weevle Seemingly companion to Rex Raptor, Weevle sepcializes in bug-type cards. His bug strategies prove to not be good enoughagainst the likes of Yugi/Yami. All his star chips gone, off the island he goes, but before that, he throws Yugi's Exodia cards overboard, though Joey manages to retrieve two of them. Crokae The head man of security and always the last to know things as Pegasus put it. Rex Raptor Rex specializes in dinosaur types, but even his mighty dinos can't stand up to Weevle's bugs, which should mean he can't defeat Yugi. Raptor See Rex Raptor Cescilia Pegasus' love whom was lost. See Pegasus for more information. Keno Keno is loyal only to Pegasus and has been around for a while. He is the one who held Mokuba hostage, telling Yugi he will be set free if he defeats Kaiba, but the Kaiba Yugi duels turns out to be fake. Yugi had been on the losing side against the fraud, but the real Kaiba hacked into computer systems and helped Yugi by destroying the fake's Blue Eyes. Panic He is the exterminator of Duelist Kingdom. He is the undefeated duelist and empties other duelists of their star chips, sending them off the island. Due to Panic's overconfidence, he duels Yugi/Yami and meets his defeat when Yami outwits him. Serenity Joey's sister. She is about to go blind, but an eye surgery can prevent it, that it why Joey duels, to win money for his sister's operation. More to come!
