BEEF BRISKET1 beef brisket
1 1/2 cup barbecue sauce or Woody's Cooking Sauce
1/2 small bottle liquid smoke
Salt and pepper
Rub salt and pepper into each side. Pour liquid smoke over each side of brisket.
Wrap completely and place in large cooking pan. Bake in 200 degree oven for 4 hours.
Slow cooking is what makes it so tender. Unwrap foil and drain. Pour on barbecue sauce, over and under brisket. Return wrapped brisket to oven for 45 minutes. When serving, cut slices across the grain.
