CHOCOLATE SCOTCHAROOS

1 cup sugar                                           1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter                              6 cup Kellogg’s Rice Krispies
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Nestle’s                           1 (6 oz.) pkg. Butterscotch morsels
 semi-sweet chocolate morsels
 

Cook sugar and syrup in 3-quart saucepan over moderate heat until mixture boils.
Remove and stir in peanut butter an Rice Krispies.
Press into buttered 13 X 9 inch pan.
Let harden.  Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels over hot water and stir to blend.
Spread over Krispies mixture.  Chill about 5 minutes.
Yields:  42 bars; 2 X 1 inch
