What does it mean to be human? What does it mean to live and hate and
love and die? What does it mean to spread your wings and find that you
have none? Spread your arms and scream your rage at the sky.

You bare your throat, invite its slayer. You bare your body, sell your
soul. You hide your heart behind false glamour. You're nothing if not
human, fool.

My hair is down now, undone, unravelled. My makeup removed, I lay on
my pillow. I flip through your photobook, Mizerable, same song playing
on my Hi-fi stereo.

That charmer's voice is horrible.

You can't sing, but I love your voice.
You can't act, you can't dance. That's why I wouldn't give you the
choice.

My demon prince, you are pathetic. I know that I have failed you.
You reached too high. You fell too hard. I can't bare to look at you.

Makes me wonder about the times we've spent together. Were you as true
to us, to me, as your fake smiles at the camera screen? Are you truly
happy now that we never see each other? I almost what to break this

When I see you on television I want to tear my eyes out in rage. I
almost cry. You dance like a madman on his animal farm stage. I
always knew you wanted to fly. You flail your arms wildly about. And
looking at you now, there's too much I regret. You straddle the
amusement park rocking horse and shout. What are you're doing when you
offer the children a cigarette?

You scare me. I don't know you anymore.

the love of us, of mine. Why did I let you go?

And you kept saying 'wait for me'. Did you wait when you walked away?
Did you stop long enough to watch me break down? They found me alone
crying in the hallway.

I hate you. I hate you so much. I love you. You, who cause me too
much pain just to see you destroying yourself. What are you? Some
visitor from mars? Don't make me laugh. We're only human. You know
it. We spoke of eternity when we gazed at the stars, but I knew we
would never live it.

Did you ever understand the meaning of being human? Did you ever
understand, ever listen? To be human is to be malicious, to be
miserable, to acknowledge the fact that you can't fly, Gackt.

You're earthbound, grounded. Human.
