Entry # 01

I woke up six in the morning; just the right time for me to fix myself. I took a bath and skipped my breakfast- I just wanted my uncle to take me out for a meal outside but he didn't. He took me to my mom's sister's place where I quenched my hunger.

After some chit-chat, my uncle decided to take me to the "training area" where I first thought was a disaster but at first glance, it was very organized. The hospital has a modernized seven-story building. I was so eager to enter it.

We reached the barracks at ten a.m. but the reception proper was at 1:00 p.m. I left my bags there just what the woman commanded me to do. We went out just to pass the time away and to know some real people.

Finally, we found someone from Mankayan. My heart breathed with satisfaction. I was expecting someone out of reach but it turned out to be the opposite. I found someone whom I can share my Kankanaey jokes with. At that time, maybe my uncle thought that I could suit myself into the new environment so he decided to leave me with my new friends. So he bade goodbye.

At lunchtime, we went to a nearby Jollibee restaurant and past the meal there.

We then went back to the barracks at 12:30; 30 minutes before the exact time.

1:00- Spanish time, nothing started yet. All eyes were at the stare of a new-arrival female candidate. I thought she was there to accompany someone for the examination but no, she was there for it.
