Terms of sale: When a kit becomes up for sale and buyer agrees to send a deposit, the kit or adult will be held for 7 days and be listed as Sale Pendingg. When the deposit is received, the kit/adult will be listed as Sold. If the deposit isn't received with the 10 days, the kit/adult will be back up for sale. When responding through email, it is important to respond quickly as the chins sell quickly, and we can't wait too long to hear for a determination from a prospective buyer. We also reserve the right to cancel a sale at anytime and refund all money at our descretion. Our goal is to have everyone involved happy, including the chinchillas. Payment Methods: When we have a chinchilla that interests you, a nonrefundable deposit of $25 will hold your chinchilla until it is weaned. If it is already weaned, it will hold your chinchilla for 2 weeks, unless otherwise arranged. We do charge a $.50 per cage fee if held longer than two weeks. You are welcome to make payments or wait until you come to pick up your chinchilla. SageBrush Chins must have the total purchase price prior to the chin leaving our home. You are always welcome to stop and visit your kit while it is weaning, or pick one out! SageBrush Chins reserves FIRST buy back option of any chins sold here at original purchase price up to one year. We will not buy back an old timer for original purchase price. UPDATED ON MARCH 11, 2006 HEALTH GUARANTEE We gaurantee the animal to be healthy, happy, well fed, and free from illness or genetic disorder at the time of purchase. The buyer has 72 hours to take chinchilla to a licensed veterinarian for a health checkup after it leaves SBC. If it is found to be unhealthy it will be replaced when one is available. After 72 hours it is the buyers responsibility and no health guaranteee applies, except for that of genetic disorders. If your chinchilla is found with a genetic disorder within the first year of its life and you have a signed notorized document from a licensed veterinarian, you are welcome to bring the animal back for a replacement animal when one is available. Client is responsible for shipping arrangements if needed. If you are purchasing a chin from us that is bred by someone else, you will have to contact them directly, as they will want to know which animals in their herd are causing the problem. Our health guarantee does not apply. We do not offer cash refunds, we offer credit towards another chinchilla (see replacement animals below) or goods.. REPLACEMENT ANIMALS SBC deems as of January 2006 that the definition of replacement animal will be one of the same color and sex of the original animal purchased. Any Credits of monetary value can be used towards any animal that is available. Buyer must make arrangements for shipping or transfer. We are not responsible for paying shipping expenses of the new animal, only the returned animal. Show/Pet Quality Guarantee When purchasing a kit, we cannot guarantee the quality it will grow up to be, or if it will reproduce. If you would like a pet quality animal, it will be listed as that and reflect in the pricing. Please do not expect to pick up a proven show animal for $125 or less. For this price, you will receive an exceptional pet or breeding animal. If you are looking for a show quality chinchilla, it would need to be shown by us prior to purchasing or graded by a sanctioned judge to guarantee quality. It will be listed as a proven show animal and it will reflect in the pricing. |
