Admit It!
Disclaimer: I do not own Gundam Wing and am in no way saying I do by writting this. I also do not own the Linkin Park lyrics.
Authors Note: Didn`t we just leave this party? The whole roof thing I mean. You like? Hate? what?
Chapter 8:
"Discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me.
Distracting, reacting.
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection.
It`s haunting how I can`t seem,
To find myself again."
-Linkin Park
Akkiko walked up the steps lifelessly. People regarded her with surprise and she understood why. Her eyes were white because of the contacts, her hair was a mess. It had been three months since she had seen Heero. Veda had carried out her mission and new colony leaders had been found. One was a small girl. Akkiko was dead inside so she wondered why she shouldn`t be dead on the outside.
There was a constant churning of her stomech and a constant ache that wouldn`t go away. Why had she seen that stupid girl? Why had she even spoken to her to begin with? She stepped to the ledge and stared out at the city. It was sparkly in blue light. She let a tear ripple down her cheek. "I`m sorry Doctor J."
	"Would you jump already?"
She turned so fast she almost lost her balance and saw Heero in blue jeans, a black shirt, with a denum jacket over that. She stepped down, caution on her face as she stared at her best friend. Was he a treater? "Doctor J send you?"
Heero shook his head slowly and she believed him. He now jammed his hands in his pockets and looked at her. "You jump I jump." Akkiko snapped her head up to look at him. He held up a small piese of paper. "I swore to only go through your belongings under an emegency, I think this counts as one. Do I have your trust?"
She cowered away for a minute. Not too long ago she had said yes to this queston and that was the main reason she was now on the ledge. "Can you help me?"
Heero frowned. "No, but I can listin pretty good." With a sob wracking through her she ran at him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She felt him stiffen slightly but finally he relaxed and put a hand on her back. "Why do you want to hear that so much?"
She looked up with tears and wiped them away. "A long time ago I was hurt really bad by someone and I became suicidal. My parents sent me to doctors and groups but it didn`t help. They were so *darn* confident that they didn`t care if I was still depressed. They were so blinded they didn`t see that I faked everything. I thought they could help but they couldn`t. They threw false hope at me. I`ve looked for one person to admit they can`t help and make everything better and I found someone." She gave a slight sweeze and sighed as she felt Heero`s heart beat.
Heero sighed into her hair, glad she was safe, and looked up. "They retrained me and they want to do the same to you." She looked up in horror but he stopped her from being concerned with a stare. "Hide. Don`t come out until I need you."
She blinked at him. "How will I know?"
Heero grinned. "As soon as you have these feelings under control, that`s when you contact me."
"But Heero that could be years!"
"I don`t think so." With that Heero turned and walked off the roof. She followed him a little reluctantly. So she had to go into hiding? Easy.
