We use ritual magic as a tool to help us transcend our everyday
reality and enter an altered state of consciousness in order
to open our mind to different dimensions of thought
and to become more aware of our 'true self'.

To clear the way.

To overcome cluttered, noisy thinking.

To gain insight, understanding and wisdom.

To transcend the 'duality'.

To consciously, willingly, deliberately
become 'one' with the energies of life.

With this in mind we can use our earth celebration rituals to
achieve a sense of oneness and balance with the earth.

Although we can do these rituals at any time and the effects will be
achieved because we are magically and mystically transcending
the 'mundane' and accessing a higher state of mind, to gain
the deepest connection and the most benefit from
these thoughts and feelings it is best to perform
these rituals when the moments occur -
when seasonal changes are physically happening.

However celebration of the wonder of the changing seasons
and all they bring doesn't require confusion about the
name of the day on which they are performed.

We can go to our ritual space and use our minds to imagine
that we are not only linking with the earth's energies
of climatic change but that we *are* the earth
- the planet -
and that we revolve together whether we are at
the equator or the very center of the earth.

We revolve around the sun as if we are in
the same place as the planet.

As if we *are* - the planet.

The whole planet from pole to pole.

With our heads at the north  and our feet at
the south we turn as the planet turns.

From right to left.

Anti-clockwise.

"Widdershins".

Turning in the direction the planet takes in its
relationship to our beautiful sun.

We turn from right to left, stopping at each cardinal point to
welcome in the energies from north, south, east and west.

This technique means north and south don't stop
at the equator but at the poles.

We allow all seasonal changes on all parts
of the planet to flow through us.

We feel the summer and winter solstice and the great energy
changes shifting globally and within our hearts at
both solstice times and we make a wish.

We feel the spring and autumn equinox and the great
balancing energies spreading throughout our being
at both equinox times and we give thanks.

A ritual of joining - of becoming one - of *blending* with the earth.

A ritual of overcoming the mundane and entering a timeless place
filled with powerful life energies that are created and felt
throughout our beautiful planet and all it provides.

Including - us.
