We splurged on our wedding invitions so that they would look just right. We were quite pleased with them. As for the ceremony program, we were on a tight budget at this point, so I made them. Not nearly as sophisticated or elegant as a professional one, but I thought it turned out alright. You can save a lot by designing them on a computer and taking them to a copy place. I wanted something a little unique and finally found a very pretty picture of one online. I have to admit that the internet is great for research. We selected white cake with lemon filling. The bakery that made it, A Taste of Holland, did a wonderful job and everyone agreed that the cake was delicious. Now my favorite creature in the world is the dolphin, so you can imagine how happy I was to find this little gem of a cake topper. It is two dolphins facing each other inside of a heart.

We ended up basing the color schemes around this pretty blossom. You can see a picture of my bouquet here. The other picture is where we held our ceremony, at The Old Church. It is a very old, gothic building. It is only used for ceremonies now, no religious services are held there anymore. It's really beautiful inside.
