CPC Sec. 20 - If the court finds that it has no jurisdiction to try the suit , it ought to have returned the plaint to be presented to the proper court. It did not have further jurisdiction to go on to the question of the maintainability of merits of the case. Mere numbering of suit does not mean that the suit is registered.
