Pastry and Bars

Lots of stories here...buttertarts that had to be hidden so the boys wouldn't eat them all before anyone else had a chance to get one...my son's favorite 'birthday pie' that he liked even better when he found out it had alcohol in it...yet another of the wonderful tastes that came from my gram's kitchen...and if I can't get pumpkin pie, I'll take apple betty any day, as long as there's lots of cheddar in the fridge!
