*About got anime?*

Why is it that got anime exists? What is our purpose? Well, here's the whole story: A little less than a year ago, I was searching around online about information concerning the S and SuperS dubs of Sailor Moon. While searching around I found other great news and information that I emailed to all of my otaku buddies and such. Thats when I got an idea. Why should my friends and I be the only ones to know about this ahead of time? Sure, people will find the news eventually, but what if we could just get a big huge group of anime fans from all over the world and the US to come together? That way people will know the news ahead of time...ta da! got anime? was born! The newsletter got off to a VERY rocky start, and for a while it was absolutly dead. I tried a few more times with it, but it didn't seem very successful...so thats when I decided that I needed a new group of people to join! Thanks to Elisande Michi, my newsletter has become a success and we are growing everyday! At first, got anime? was just a newsletter, but now we have turned into an online clique! I have wanted to turn it into a clique from the begining, but I wasn't quite sure how...Thanks to my brainstorming session with Songbird, we came up with a way to list our members sites (if they have one) and become a clique? Our way of doing this? got anime? signature characters! What is a signature character? Signature characters allow for got anime? members to show off their favorite anime/manga/video game characters! Say you have a site dedicated to Sailor Moon, and you wanted your signature character to be well...Sailor Moon (origional, eh?). Well, you simply fill out the Join Fotm and then I send you a neat-o Sailor Moon badge. The badge shows everyone that visits your site that you are a true fan of that character/series and that you support anime in general! And whats this about a newsletter? Well, the got anime? newsletter is sent out every month (sometimes twice a month depending on how much news I am able to gather.) The newsletter conatins updates on your favorite anime series, gaming news, polls, quizzes, websites, trivia, and more! The newsletter allows everyone who is a member to respond on different subjects and aspects of anime, which is a good way to express your opinions and make new online buddies. And lastly...the Site of the Month! Every month I try to feature a different anime character. This character always corresponds to a members website. So, not only does the site of the week get a nifty layout with their signature character, but their website is listed on the frist page! (great for more traffic, eh?) So this is got anime?
