Marron's Mumblings
Welcome to the new section,
Marron's mumblings. Marron, whom you
will see in the background,
is the name of the main character in the anime
"Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne." It is also my online
pseudonym. (And Marron means "brown" in French for anyone who cares)
This is basically the
section where I get to rant and rave about pretty much whatever I want. However
I will try to
keep it anime related. And now, the featured topic is...
Someone Get me a DNA Lab...
Alright, you guys got lucky; this one is short and it's about
Sailor Moon! Do you ever wonder:
Who in God's name is Sailor Moon's father? I know what you're thinking: "It's
the dude with
those glasses and the funky sweaters." No, that's not what I mean. I'm
talking about her REAL
father. If Queen Serenity is Usagi/Serena's true mother, then who is her true
father? There's
never any reference to him in the anime or the manga. Did Queen Serenity just
decide, "Hey,
let's break the laws of nature and give me a daughter without any father."
Or did Usagi just really
surprise her mother and appear out of nowhere? I don't think we will ever
know.
The fun thing is to make up your own theories: Maybe Usagi
is a test tube baby (just kidding,
I love Usagi!). Or maybe her father was some dude from earth who was (hopefully)
unrelated
to Price Endymion (Prince Darien). Or it would be really twisted if some character
in the series
is her real father but nobody knows the truth. Wow, Jaedite as Usagi's father.
That's weird. Or
what about Professer Tomoe. Then Hotaru could be Usagi's evil twin (or vice
versa!) Or, dear
God, set your faces to stunned: Helios as the father of Sailor Moon <shudder>
