Okay.....being that Gene is the main guy character out of an anime full of lovely women, there is going to be a lot of different opinions on who he should be with. Personally....I believe Gene and Aisha would be the best couple. Gene is too wild for Melfina, who seems so innocent and resevrved. (Plus I think she likes Jim better anyways...;) Hehe) And Sazuka is way too mature for Mr. Starwind. And Fred....well....lets just say that Gene needs to stick with women.... One thing that makes Aisha and Gene  so cute together is their out-going personalities. Even though they don't get along at first....they settle their differences and everything seems fine!! They just seem to have similair personalities and opinions on things.....its really cute!!! Another thing is they both love food!! The two could just eat together all the time!!! ~WARNING~ Please do not send me any emails about this pairing. This is my opinion.....and even though it seems like Melfina and Gene ended up together...it wasn't "officially". They kissed....so what? He had sex with Hilda...and dated that stupid glasses girl.

*Other Relationships* I don't know what others think about this pairing...but I think if you consider yuri relationships...Aisha would be a good match for Sazuka. (Its going the total opposite from Gene...but thats okay!) And of course...like many think...Aisha could go for Jim when he is older.... But I still love Gene and Aisha...haha.
