At the beginning of the serie, Dilandau's origins are obscure, but as the serie unwraps, we discover that, by a twist of faith (!!!), he has become what he is at that time, rarely changing back to his original form... Ok, the spoilers start HERE!!!
Allen Schezar's sister, Selena, was, like you should know, kidnapped in her youth. Of course, the ones who had kidnapped her were the Zaibach empire. They used the Destiny machine to change her faith and made her, well, Dilandau. As Selena, she was a very nice child, with long blond hair. Arriving there, she met Jajuka who was her caretaker for sometime. Her hair got cut and he was there to recomfort her. Then he was taken away and..she cried...She developped a phobia in being alone that stayed with Dilandau. END OF MINI SPOILER STORY!
In the present, we first see him as he attacks Fanelia and burns it down to ashes. (oh, and Van and Hitomi are mysteriously teleported). After those two are rescued by Allen, Dilandau appears in that kingdom...um, and that places kind of gets totally destroyed too (well that's later). Van gets caught and his friends go save him. In a battle, Van manages to slash his sword across his right cheek (how could he!), which brings our villain's hate. Um...well, between and in many battles, his story perpetuates itself with events such as the death of his "beloved" Dragon Slayers, the return of Jajuka, his (SPOILER) turning back briefly in to Selena (and catching that butterfly...I loved that!) (END OF SPOILER), well, I can't say everything, this villain and this serie are terrific, so go rent them for yourself!!!
Just in case:
Close the window to go back!
- The name of his Dragon Slayers (some) are: Shesta, Gatti, Migel, Dalet, Guimel and (name only) Viole.
- Another person who works/cares for Dilandau-sama is Jajuka, a dog-man who is very nice.
- The Guimelef he drives can turn invisible (like the other Zaibach ones), throw flame (with a flamethrower...) and is red.
- He is about the same age as Van.
