The answer is: C! If you thought Dilandau was afraid of fire, you don't know Escaflowne at all! And, even if he tries to destroy him often, I'm sure Dilandau's not afraid of Van. I don't remember seeing any spiders in the show and you have to think that Dilandau's in a flying fortress so being afraid of heights would be hard. Maybe he is afraid of closed spaces but we don't know for sure. Maybe there are only guys in the Dragon Slayers, but that doesn't make Dilandau be afraid of girls. Yes, he is afraid of being alone. And it really shows when all of his Dragon Slayers die.

The answer is: B! Being evil doesn't mean you have to hate the good guy! I don't think there is someone, else than Diva, that would like to go out with Jinnai so Makoto couldn't steal his girlfriend. Makoto was actually very nice with Jinnai so he never made fun of his hair. And he could find a better reason than that for being evil... Yes, Makoto beats Jinnai at everything they do. He has better grades than him, he wins the marathon, he gets to finish the ice cream before him... Isn't that a good reason to be evil?
