A little background on me; I'm originally from Hamilton Ontario where I grew up and went to school, although I was born at Niagara Falls Ontario. I completed High school at Delta High School in 1971. I joined the Navy in February of 1972 as a Marine Engineer Technician.

My Naval Career;
My first ship was HMCS Yukon in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I was part of the crew that took her out west and brought back HMCS St Croix.

| My next ship was HMCS Fraser for a year or so.

I was then posted to HMCS Saguenay in 1976 as an Able Seaman and left in 1985 as a Petty Officer (first class). From here I went to the Engineering school as an instructor. I instructed fitting classes to the C5 students. I spent two years at the school.

| I was on the Nipigon twice. I especially liked this picture because I was standing behind the photographer when he took the picture. It was taken while down in Florida. Between 1990 and 1994, I was posted to HMCS Carleton in Ottawa Ontario, I really enjoyed this posting. I was onboard the Nipigon for her final sail past, the last of the Cadillac's. After leaving the Nipigon, I was posted to the Anticosti for a few months where I was the CERA onboard.

I was then posted to the Damage Control Division as the senior instructor for NBC. Also worked in the Quality Control cell, where aside from doing exams etc. I was also the web master and the safety officer. I'm currently posted to HMCS Preserver where I work as the planned maintenance coordinator, training coordinator and engineering department regulator. Check out the pictures I took at sea while onboard the Preserver. Ship will soon be going for a well needed refit and some time in 2004. I plan on retiring from the Navy 14 June 2004, I need more than a refit. It has been a good career for me but all good things must come to an end. | HMCS Preserver

Some personal items; I was married once, back in 1979, am currently divorced since 2000. Life is good again! |
| |

I did manage to have a daughter from the marriage, Angelina, who was born in 1980 and now lives in Ottawa, Ontario. I do get to see her every now and then. I'm currently living in Spryfield, Nova Scotia, where I bought a little house and some land. It keeps me busy, clearing trees, and then of course I get to burn them all winter long. Currently live with Sue now and the seas are calm once more!
