Ties to Sailor Sun:
During her final days in Junior High, Serena meets Adana Masters, Lita's new neighbor.  Adana also seems to steal her beau, Darien, from whom she is on a romantic hiatus with at the time.  After becoming friends, Serena finds out that Adana is actually Sailor Sun, and they work together to find the Imperium Silver Crystal, and get it back to the future.
