In anime, characters generally have to shout out a phrase before activing an item of power or magical special ability. An example is Sailor Moon's
Power Word Ooops is a zero range effect. In many movies and stories when a main character makes a mistake that will have significant consequences they will often say "ooops" just after they screw up and before it goes bloohy. By shouting the phrase "Power Word Ooops", the character causes everybody in the area of effect to fumble.
The words of power phrase "Tie Me Kangaroo Down" is a bondage spell. When uttered, it leaves the target wrapped in a variety of leather and rope. It does no damage, but the victim is bound and unable to move.
