This is an alternate adventure from the primary first adventure. The party has gone through the first part of the first adventure and is on the train to Boston. On the train they meet a member of The Boston Thieves Guild.
1 - On the train The Boston Thieves Guild rep will notice that the party members are psis. He will strike up a conversation. The Guild rep is not a plant. He just happened to be on the train. He routinely scans people though to find psis. As a powerful Empath he can determine what power a person has, and roughly how powerful the person will start out as. He will excuse himself pretty quickly if the party seems interested in psionics or the Guild. When he has excused himself he will contact a couple of Guild members with the appropriate powers to demonstrate the powers that psis can wield. The other Guild members will meet the train in New York City.
