Elves arrived on Oceana in 800 BCE. The Elves, Dwarves and Egyptians have been present on Oceana the longest. The Elves arrived in a northern section of Oceana, but fairly far to the west.
Elves are not a single kingdom. Do not want humans as single kingdom. Easier to play games with multiple human kingdoms instead of single kingdom.
The normal Elf lives in a small village of between 150 and 250 adults. Despite the small size, the range of abilities are much higher than human settlements. Where a human village of 200 people might have at most a bunch of level 3 characters, an Elven village will have characters up to epic levels. Elven villages though will still have only a few total number of powerful classes.
Elven villages are in the northern temperate zone. Roughly equivilent to New Jersey. Winters are snowy, with temperatures below freezing from November to March. Summers are hot with temperatures to high 90s. Vegatation is a mix of hard wood and conifers. They are outside the olive belt, but within the northern edge of the wine belt. Diet tends more towards meat, fish, milk and beer instead of olive oil and wine. This is similar to the Pacific Northwest, except there is probably less rain fall.
