Forbidden Classes and Prestige Classes
These base classes and prestige class have been forbidden in
Oceana. The most common reason is lack of fit to the world. This
list is not comprehensive since there are so many 3rd party d20
books being published. Players can not use these classes unless
they can overcome the reason for class being banned.

do not fit into my Oceana setting.

forbidden. I don't like ghosts.
- Favored Soul (CD / MH) - I don't like the one line
description from the Character Class Index, so they will
likely be forbidden.
- Goliath Barbarian, Druid and Rogue - There are no
goliaths on Oceana.
- Ninja - The Wizard's of the Coast Ninja
from Complete Adventurer is not being used. If
there is any ninja, it would be the BESM d20
version.
- Planar Ranger - I don't have planes in my Oceana universe,
therefore no planar classes, creatures or such.
- Psion & Epic Psion - psionics in Oceana is not like
the D&D d20 psionics. As such, all psionic based
classes from the Psionic Handbook are forbidden.

Forbidden Extended Prestige
Classes
These are prestige classes put out by Wizards of the Coast.
- Annointed Knight - (Book of Exalted Deeds).
- Apostle of Peace - (Book of Exalted Deeds). I
don't see the need, or how it would fit into my world.

geography of the world.
- Celestial Mystic - (Book of Exalted Deeds). I
don't use planes in this campaign.
- Champian of Gwynharwyf - (Book of Exalted Deeds).
No specific deity of barbarians or generally of any
specific race or class. Barbarians are a cultural issue,
not a skill set per se.
- Defender of Sealtiel - (Book of Exalted Deeds).
No specific order exists. Paladins can take the special
skills, etc to effectivially be such a prestige class
though.
- Emissary of Barachiel - (Book of Exalted Deeds).
Not needed, nor are any of the special abilities needed
or accepted in my world.
- Exalated Arcanist - (Book of Exalted Deeds). No
specific order exists. Paladins can take the special
skills, etc to effectivially be such a prestige class
though.

instead be gained by anybody.

don't see the need or use, especially the special
