Ai no Senshi: Sailor Venus
What's gone before: The Silver Millenium
Sailor Venus was captain of the royal guard. She tried to warn Serenity not to go to Earth because of the danger, to which the princess replied that Venus had never fallen in love and doesn't understand. There have been theories (and a million good fanfics) about a romance between the Inner Senshi and the Generals, but though this picture exists, this love never came into the story. Even though Venus did blush at Kunzite's teasing.
Also, Venus was the princess of her planet and lived in a castle known as Magellan.

Here and Now: First appearance
Venus first appeared killing Zoicite with Crescent Boomerang and was announced to be the heiress to the Moon Kingdom by Artemis. She is also Sailor V. She explains their mission and a bit of her past to the other Senshi. After Sailor Moon is revealed to be the true Moon Princess and Tuxedo Kamen is taken, Venus tells Serenity that she's actually the leader of the Inner Senshi.

Collages: Other scenes of importance
In the R series, Venus' couterpart is Avery, the medium. Venus is the only senshi not captured by the Black Moon (excluding SM). She also travels with Chibi-Usa, Sailor Moon, and Tuxedo Kamen to the future to get Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter back and to destroy the Death Phantom.
In the S series, Venus' counterpart is Mimete. Some people think this is odd. However, their colors, blonde hair, and frame of mind (cute!) are the same. Also, both wish to be idols.
SuperS: Venus has one of her defining moments when she loses her ability to transform. Artemis (a handsome human Artemis) reveals that it was his lack of strength that caused her to lose it. He gives her the Venus Crystal to transform again. CereCere is Venus' match because she is the leader of the Amazoness Quartet and of course the yellow color.
Stars: Unfortunately, like the other senshi, Venus doesn't get to do much when Galaxia steals Venus' and Mars' starseeds early in the endgame. However, she does give Eternal Sailormoon a scare when she and the other senshi fight against her as Galaxia's puppets. Venus is the one who gets the insult in. ;) But like the others, she isn't really Venus, and the last time we see the real Venus is running toward ESM just before Galaxia blasts her.

Did You know?: Venus uses Mars' Akuryou Taisan! to extract Ghost Sistern from Rei.
