"My Angel" Walking under the night sky Down the empty streets Not as empty as the spaces in my heart An icy breeze whispers by The leaves rustle in the trees But I am not moved Here I stand, all alone The lone wolf But I wait for something Midnight strikes It never fails I turn around, knowing you’ll be there And that’s when I see it The wind in your hair... The tender curves of your lips... ...The fire in your eyes Those beautiful, beautiful eyes You stand there watching me Like a lonely shadow My guardian angel It is only your smile Which touches the depths of my soul And all I can do is smile back
